Susanna Peijari: The Dance

Susanna Peijari’s The Dance is a concrete relief under the bridge crossing the living room. It’s constructed of cast foot prints and painting. With the artwork Peijari wants to refer to the similarities between dance and building a house: both include rules and improvisation. The bridge is symbolising life: the constant change from one phase to another, how we’re constantly building new bridges and leaving other behind. Peijari has also helped with the technical execution of the ornamentation in the bathroom, on the living room floor and on the concrete walls.
