Pertti Toikkanen: Wheat Hat
The Wheat hat is a kitchen light that looks like a hat. The sculptor, performance artist and baker Pertti Toikkanen has created it for the house from dried wheat. Toikkanen makes art from everyday objects and materials. He is part of the artist group Edible Finns together with Kari Juutilainen and Jan-Erik Andersson, the creator of the Leafhouse. Since 1994 the group has performed with food-themed performances.
